Job Title: Client Manager - Accountancy Practice

Location: Waterlooville

Salary: £36,000.00 - £47,500.00 per annum (Salary negotiable for the right candidate)

Benefits:

28 days holiday plus a day off for birthday (if a working day)
Additional 3 days off at Christmas when the office closes

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, send, and submit accounts & tax returns for clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.
Communicate with clients via phone, email, social media, and in person, including chasing records.
On board new clients and integrate them into your portfolio, including bookkeeping and compliance.
Assess and advise clients on their tax position, optimising and planning tax efficiency.
Complete, review, and prepare bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS.
Maintain electronic filing of books and records, both internally and for clients.
Act as a liaison between clients and HM Revenue & Customs to resolve queries.
Participate in activities to support the smooth running of the office environment.
Manage and maintain professional development and learning, including CPD required by professional bodies.
Ensure accurate HMRC/Companies House statutory information.
Attend networking events where required.
Prepare and execute year-end client meetings.
Provide internal and external training, including client bookkeeping training.
Conduct client fee reviews.Requirements:

Practice experience.
Membership to a professional body.
Proficiency in all aspects of tax returns, accounts, bookkeeping, etc., as listed in the job description.
Willingness to work in the office most of the time.
Experience with year-end meetings/meetings with clients.
