Client Manager required to join a well-established Accountancy practice based in Cheltenham.

Job Title: Client Manager
Location: Hybrid role after probation period (2 days in office, 3 at home)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience plus great package which includes parking
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (9am-5pm)

Client Manager required to join a small, well-established, and very friendly accountancy practice based in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and dealing with both corporate and personal taxes. You’ll have previous experience of working as a Client Manager within practice and will be seeking an opportunity in which to develop your experience further.

Essential Skills:

* ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or Qualified by Experience

* Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice managing your own portfolio of clients,

* Experienced in preparing accounts, tax returns and VAT returns,

* Experience of dealing with clients and building strong working relationships,

* Experience of using Sage and Xero accounting and payroll,

* Effective communication skills with an enjoyment of dealing with clients,

* Driver with own vehicle (for client visits).

Key responsibilities:

* Manage own portfolio of clients,

* Preparing accounts and dealing with corporate taxes and personal tax,

* Dealing with the bookkeeping requirements on a few clients,

* Preparing / reviewing VAT returns,

* Client contact including face to face meetings, emails and telephone conversations,

* Responsible for ensuring filing deadlines are met,

* Tax advisory work when needed.
