Description:

I am looking for a Clerk of Works to join a local authority in the North of Nottinghamshire. As part of the Property and Development team, the Clerk of Works will take responsibility for the quality control of building works and development.

Responsibilities for the Clerk of Works:

Take responsibility for the quality control of building work and development including responsive repairs, capital works, refurbishment and new builds
Inspect and monitor works on-site
Prepare instructions and schedules of defects
Ensure that all works are compliant with specifications
Successful applicants for the Clerk of Works role will have

Good understanding of construction and building regulations
Working knowledge of various conditions of contracts
Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and customers
A valid driving licence
