Cleaning Supervisor – Student Roost (Aberdeen & Glasgow)
We are currently recruiting experienced Cleaning Supervisors to oversee accommodation cleaning operations across Student Roost sites in Aberdeen.
Locations
* Mealmarket Street, Aberdeen
* Pittodrie Street, Aberdeen
* Additional support across Glasgow sites (to be confirmed)
Start Date
* First phase in Aberdeen: Early June (urgent requirement)
Pay Rate
* Up to £17 per hour, depending on experience
Role Overview
We are looking for individuals with a strong background in cleaning who are ready to step into a supervisory role. This is not a hands-on cleaning position, but instead a leadership role focused on managing teams and ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing daily cleaning operations across site(s)
* Coordinating and managing cleaning teams effectively
* Allocating daily room lists and workloads
* Ensuring staff are in the correct locations and working efficiently
* Carrying out quality checks and “snagging” rooms not completed to standard
* Reporting progress, issues, and updates back to management
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Student Roost management teams
* Ensuring smooth day-to-day running of operations across site(s)
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in cleaning, with supervisory or team leader experience preferred
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Confident managing teams and maintaining standards under pressure
* Good communication and reporting abilities
* Reliable, proactive, and detail-focused
