Cleaning Operative
Location - South Central region, covering Reading and Surrounding Areas
Hours - Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

What you’ll be doing:
* Ensuring that properties are returned to a high standard of cleanliness with tight turnaround times
* Carry out scheduled work on void properties to bring back up to a high standard and in accordance with the Council’s targets prescribed in the contract
* Cleaning of rooms/communal areas as directed, ensuring that all rooms/communal areas are maintained to a high quality standard
* Cleaning void rooms to prepare them for new residents.
* Remove rubbish and dispose of correctly.
* Check kitchen and laundry room appliances are clean and free from hazards and common part areas are free from hazards and are clean as directed regularly
* Ensure that the communal areas are hygienic and well maintained.
* Report any repairs to the maintenance office team.
* Carry out sharps sweeps
* Follow all COSHH and company polices
About you:
* Experienced working independently, as well as part of a team
* Have a passion for what The Housing Network does and representing that
* Experienced in professional cleaning, ideally including end of tenancy or deep-cleaning environments
* A good level of understanding cleaning tools, and equipment
* Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence
