Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to join a busy social housing contract in Crewe on a temporary basis until September.

This role will involve cleaning and maintaining the communal areas of occupied 2 and 3-storey apartment blocks, ensuring all buildings are kept clean, safe and presentable for residents.

Your new role

Cleaning communal hallways, stairwells and entrance areas
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming communal spaces
Cleaning internal windows, doors and handrails
Removing litter from communal areas
Sanitising touch points and high-traffic areas
Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standardWhat you'll need to succeed

Previous cleaning experience, ideally within social housing, residential or commercial environments
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicWhat you'll get in return

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
Long-term temporary work until September
