With stylish and contemporary apartments designed for the over 65's, living in Lapwing Apartments makes life as easy and enjoyable as possible for our residents. We now have an exciting opportunity available for a cleaner to be based at these beautiful apartments.

Description:

* Cleaning and maintaining all areas detailed on the cleaning schedule both internal and external, to the prescribed standards

* Operation of a scheduled cleaning maintenance programme, daily, weekly, monthly, annually

* Reporting to the manager damage to fittings, fabric of the buildings or equipment

* Advising the Manager of cleaning materials stock

* Follow all health and safety requirements of role

* Ensuring up to date knowledge of and adhering to all Cross Keys Homes policies and procedures

* Cleaning specified areas within customer’s homes including bathroom toilets, kitchen, living room, bedrooms and hallways

Requirements:

* Good knowledge and experience of cleaning

* Ability to recognise and adhere to safety instructions and warnings on products and equipment

* Understand responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act

* Understand provisions of COSHH Regulation

* Monday – Thursday 9am – 12 & Friday 9am – 1pm Working every 4th Weekend with Wednesday and Thursday off that week

* 16 hour contract

* Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour (reviewed in November in line with National Living Wage Foundation)

* 28 days paid holidays pro rata, inclusive of bank holidays. Plus, an extra day per year for every extra year worked. Capped at 5 extra days
