The School and Role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated Classroom Supervisor to work with our client schools in Alvechurch and surrounding areas. As a Classroom Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment, supporting both students and teachers in their educational journey. The schools we work with are friendly and welcoming. This is a great opportunity which may lead to a long-term role at a school as they often welcome back successful candidates. You will be working within a strong community and be able to contribute to academic success across your local area!
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during lessons and ensure adherence to classroom rules and regulations.
Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and maintaining classroom discipline.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by teaching staff.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students feel motivated to learn and participate.
Manage classroom resources and equipment, ensuring they are utilized effectively.
Requirements
The successful Classroom Supervisor will have;
Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to varying classroom environments and tasks.
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
