Smile Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the WV11 Wednesfield area who are seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis from September 2026.
This is a full-time role teaching a Year 3 class. The school is looking for a confident and strong classroom practitioner who can quickly build positive relationships, maintain high expectations and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.
The successful candidate will:
Have recent experience teaching within KS2
Be confident teaching a Year 3 class
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
Be reliable, adaptable and committed
Work effectively as part of a wider school teamRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous UK primary teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculumPlease note: this role is not suitable for ECTs due to the level of experience required.
