Class 2 Refuse Driver

Description:

Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for Class 2 Dustcart drivers to work for a client based in the Southampton area. This position is a 6-month contract starting immediately with the potential of going full time for the right candidate within this period.

About this Class 2 Dustcart position:

6-month temporary position starting immediately
Monday to Friday
5:30am-6:30am start time
8-hour shifts
Driving a Class 2 vehicle
Collecting bin bags and placing them into dustcart vehicleRequirements from you as a HGV Driver:

Full UK driving licence which includes a Class 2 (Cat c)
Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
A valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
Happy to heavy lift
Newly qualified drivers welcome
Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
Great time keeping skills
Ensure all tacho hours are recorded correctlyBenefits of this role:
