Class 2 Hook Skip Driver

Location: YO61, York

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am starts, 8 to 10 hour shifts

Start Date: Immediate Starts Available

Duration: Ongoing work with no end date

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Hook Skip Driver on behalf of a well-established waste management company based in the YO61 area of York.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for long-term, ongoing work with a reputable employer.

Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

* Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience

* Previous Hook Skip experience is essential

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* No more than 3 penalty points

* No major endorsements including DD, DR, IN, CD or TT

* Good understanding of driver compliance and road safety

The Role

* Operating a Class 2 Hook Skip vehicle

* Delivering and collecting skips from customer sites

* Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork

* Providing excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standards
