Simon Acres are pleased to be working with UK's leading builders merchant who is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with HIAB certification to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for multi-drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, ensuring top-quality customer service. You will operate Class 2 HGV vehicles with a HIAB Crane, and in addition to driving duties, you will be expected to assist with yard and warehouse activities when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 2 HGV vehicles with a HIAB Crane for multi-drop deliveries.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist with yard and warehouse duties when not driving, including loading and unloading goods.
Ensure compliance with all driving regulations, including maintaining a digital tachograph card and current CPC training.
Work every other Saturday throughout the year, as required by the role.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Class 2 licence (required).
HIAB certification and experience (preferred).
Valid digital tachograph card.
Up-to-date CPC training.
Knowledge of the building industry and building products (advantageous).
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible in various roles.
