Role: Class 2 Driver (Full time role)

Job type: Temp to Perm

Shifts - Days Monday to Friday

Start time/s: 0600/0700am

Job Description:

Our customer is an independent transport specialist located in Leeds

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a well-established business

You will be delivering building materials using a class 2 vehicle.

It would be advantagous for a Driver to hold an in date MOFFETT licence, but ful training and qualifications will be offered by our client if you don't once you are employed.

Deliveries are local across Yorkshite and the North of England

Deliveries can range from 5-10 depending on orders, location

Average day is 8-10hrs max

Requirements:

* Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time

* Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping

* Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work

* Good command of English both written and spoken

* Excellent communication skills

* Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times

* Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network

* Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic

* Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client

Qualifications / training / experience:

You must be able to provide the following;

* Valid Class 2 HGV C driving licence + Valid Digital tachograph card + Valid Driver CPC card

* Hold an in date Lorry Loader HIAB Licence (ALLMI, ITSSAR, RTITB and other training qualifications accepted)

* Have No more than 6 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)

* 2 work check-able work references

Pay

£16.81ph (Holiday’s paid out in advance).
