Description:

We are looking for a part time Class 2 driver based in York, this is a Fallen Stock Driver position.

The main duties of this role include driving a company HGV to collect fallen stock from customer sites and return it to our facility, handling fallen stock, unloading the vehicle, completing required documentation like driver and collection records, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing safety checks.

You do not need experience dispatching live animals, you will be trained to shoot and dispatch live animals at customer sites.

No slaughter licence/firearm certificates are required – you will be given full training.

You must be able to adapt to changes quickly and calmly, with a logical and organised plan.

You must hold a Class 2 licence, CPC and tacho card, with good knowledge of working time directive.

£12.50 per hour - 25.5 Hours weekly, Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday with flexibility to cover holidays, flexible start times

Pay increase after successful probationary period pass to £13.50 per hour
