Class 2 Driver – Biggleswade Depot
£17.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm | Immediate Starts Available
Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Biggleswade. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company offering regular weekday work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across the region while maintaining high standards of customer service and safe driving.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing daily multi-drop deliveries.
2-3 drops per day
Driving a curtain-sided Class 2 vehicle.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Completing all relevant paperwork and using delivery systems where required.
Providing a professional and friendly service to customers at each delivery point.
What to Expect
Approximately 90% of deliveries are unloaded by the customer using a forklift, keeping manual handling to a minimum.
The occasional delivery may require the use of a pump truck, so applicants should be comfortable with light manual work when necessary.
Monday to Friday work with no regular weekend requirement.
Start times vary between 4:00am and 9:00am, depending on the delivery schedule.
Occasional nights out may be required, paid at £20 per night.

Requirements
Applicants must have:
A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous Class 2 driving experience.
A good understanding of drivers' hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation.
A positive attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
