Tailored Recruitment Partners are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable company based in Dewsbury for an experienced Class 2 Driver.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive business with a strong reputation for looking after its employees. The role involves delivering animal by-products to commercial clients across the local area and throughout the UK, ensuring a professional and reliable service at all times.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* Start times between 5:00am and 6:00am
* Finish times typically between 2:00pm and 4:00pm
* Average 45–55 hours per week
* 1–2 nights out per week, with overnight allowance paid
Pay
* £16.00 per hour for the first 40 hours worked each week
* £20.00 per hour for all hours worked over 40
* Paid nights out
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
* Deliver animal by-products to customers in line with scheduled routes.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
* Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
* Complete all relevant paperwork and comply with transport legislation.
* Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
* Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and environmental procedures.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
* Valid Driver CPC qualification.
* Digital Tachograph Card.
* Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
* A positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred.
