Pay Rate: £14.28 per hour (£37,128 per annum) Job Type: Temp to Perm

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a growing and successful company in Carlisle. This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and multi-drop deliveries, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy being active and providing excellent customer service.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Start time: 5:00 AM
Approximately 50 hours per week
Finish times vary depending on workload and delivery routeThe Role

As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

Home delivery work across a designated route
Delivering bedroom furniture to customers' homes
Completing approximately 4-5 deliveries per day
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
Working as part of a team to safely handle and deliver heavy items

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good communication and customer service skills
The ability to work efficiently and professionally
Be 25 years of age or over
No more than 6 penalty points on your licenceBenefits
