SLD Recruitment are currently looking for reliable Class 2 (C) HGV Drivers to join our growing team.
We work with a wide range of established customers across Nottingham, Derby and South Yorkshire, meaning we can offer a variety of Class 2 driving opportunities to suit different preferences and experience levels.

???? What will you be doing?
Depending on the customer and role, Class 2 duties can include:

Driving Class 2 rigid HGV vehicles safely and responsibly
*
Making local, regional and nationwide deliveries
*
Multi-drop deliveries to customers and businesses
*
Depot-to-depot deliveries and trunking
*
Delivering pallets, cages, stock and general haulage
*
Loading and unloading vehicles
*
Using pump trucks and tail lifts where required
*
Completing delivery paperwork and electronic delivery records
*
Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
*
Securing loads safely and correctly
*
Communicating professionally with customers and site staff
*
Following all relevant road transport, health & safety and company procedures
*
Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
