Description:
StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 2 Driver based in Burton upon Trent.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified Class 2 driver with a valid license, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration for the Class 2 driver position in Burton upon Trent:
Monday to Friday AM - £15.50 PAYE
Monday to Friday AM - £17.48 Assignment Rate

Responsibilities for the Class 2 driver in Burton upon Trent include:
This will involve deliveries to depots aswell as store fronts.
You will be responsible for ensuring the load is secured in a safe manner.
5 – 6 drops per shift on average and drivers will be responsible for manually unloading the vehicle and delivering into the stores.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
Start time is between 05:00 and 07:00 each morning
Average around 9-10 hour shifts.
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
Class 2 driver UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 2 years)
Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
Experience driving container loaded trailers
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
Great communication skills
Professional attitude
