Salary: From £14.00 per hour – higher rates available for Class 1 drivers

Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours week
Our client is a growing and professional logistics and transport company providing reliable delivery and collection services to customers across the UK. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver / Category C Driver to join the team. This is a multidrop driving role, ideal for drivers who enjoy a varied working day and delivering excellent customer service.
As a Class 2 Multidrop Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, completing multiple deliveries and collections throughout your assigned route.
Your typical day may include:
Driving a Class 2 HGV / Category C vehicle safely and professionally.
Completing multidrop deliveries and collections to multiple customers.
Following planned delivery routes and schedules.
Loading, securing and unloading goods safely.
Completing delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery) and other relevant documentation.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection locations.
Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
Complying with DVSA, Road Transport and Health & Safety regulations.
Maintaining high standards of professionalism and vehicle cleanliness.
The ideal candidate will have:
A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV/LGV driving licence.
A valid Driver CPC / DCPC qualification.
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver or Multidrop Driver is preferred.
Experience with multidrop deliveries and collections is advantageous.
Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
