Class 2 Driver – Waste Collection

£16.00 per hour | Milton Keynes MK6 | Monday-Friday | Temp to Perm

Smart Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste management operation in Milton Keynes.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for stable Monday-Friday work, weekly pay and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

The Role

You will drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle, working alongside loaders to collect waste from residential and commercial properties across the local area.

Duties include:

* Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle

* Collecting and emptying bins

* Working alongside loaders

* Manually moving wheelie bins when required

* Following allocated daily routes

* Carrying out vehicle checks

* Working safely around pedestrians, vehicles and members of the public

* Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements

* Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

* Minimum 6 months' Class 2 licence experience

* 90 days of recent Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous waste/refuse or trade waste experience

* Reliable and punctual

* Comfortable with early starts and outdoor work

* Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay & Hours

£16.00 per hour

Monday-Friday

Choose from:

* 4:00am – 1:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)

* 5:00am – 2:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)

Weekly pay every Friday

Immediate start available

Temp-to-permanent opportunity
