Class 2 Cylinder Driver - Exeter, UK

Monday - Friday Days
£16.63 per hour - £24.95 overtime after 42.5
Job Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to transport gas cylinders to various locations across the region.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cylinders, maintaining high standards of customer service.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and securing of gas cylinders.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
Assist with loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring safe handling at all times.
Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence with a clean driving record.
Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
ADR Tanks & Packages
Knowledge of UK road regulations and safety standards related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Physical fitness and manual handling skills suitable for loading and unloading cylinders.
