Description:
Rapier Employment are recruiting for Class 1 drivers in Chepstow to support our well-known client.
Location: Chepstow
Pay: £14.92 - £18.63 per hour
Hours: Current start times are between 23:00 & 04:00 but are subject to change
Job description:
Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
Provide exceptional customer service and address any questions or concerns that may arise during deliveries.
Pre-trip & post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
Class 2 work will be required. This is a total of between 1-4 drops when required. This will be paid at the Class 1 rates.
Requirements:
Valid class 1 driving licence with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills.
Ability to work varied start times throughout the day/night, you will be expected to cover some or all weekends due to being a retail client.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Benefits:

Overtime after 45 hours.
