Description:
Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support DP World based at the BMW plant in Swindon. Inductions will be held Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th June.
**You must have 6 months Class 1 driver experience to be put forward**
Pay: Earnings Circa £36,000 annual, paid on a hourly rate basis.
Hours: Start times may vary between AM and PM.
Hours & Days: Initial Monday-Thursday but potential to do additional days over the Friday-Sunday if required.
Roles for ths class 1 driver position include and are not limited to:
Completing class 1 driver vehicle and trailer checks, and recording information internally and reporting any defects.
Loading the trailer with car parts ready to be delivered to Oxford. MHE training will be provided down the line.
Up to 3 runs per day between Swindon and Cowley sites. This can vary depending on requirements.
Able to maintain accurate paperwork/electronic records.
Able to work as part of a team, and have good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to adhere to Health and Safety procedures and rules.
Ability to work flexible schedule (day, night, weekends if required)
Requirements:
CPC Card
Digi card
Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience
