Description:
Driver Hire Winchester are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on behalf of one of our client specialising in general haulage deliveries with experience on a double decker Class 1 vehicle.
About this Class 1 Night role:
AD HOC ongoing work varied between Monday to Friday
Start times vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm (10-12-hour shifts)
Deliveries and collections of palletised general haulage goods
Driving a Class 1 Double Decker curtain sider
One delivery to main hub in the midlands
Pallets are forklifted off the vehicleRequirements from you as a HGV 1 Driver:
Full UK Class 1 licence
Valid CPC and Digi card
Minimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
Great communication skills
Strapping experience
Experience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveries
Own transport to commute to and from work
Fantastic time keeping and communications skills
Complete daily vehicle checks
Comply with the companies health and safety procedures
