About The Role:
Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for LGV HGV Class 1 drivers. As part of the team you will:
Professionally driving and operating an allocated vehicle that is assigned by the Transport department daily while ensuring an efficient and effective collection, transportation and disposal of customer waste
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report all defects which may affect the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle or equipment immediately to the office
Verifying that paperwork/jobs scheduled on the tablet matches the container type loaded prior to departure from site
All Duty of Care/Waste Transfer Notes are completed promptly and accurately
Use and maintain your vehicle and equipment in accordance with the training given
Ensure all loads are secure and safe and follow site safety instructions at all sites
Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy and the Company rules including reporting any unmarked hazards, near misses or accidents and wearing the correct PPESkills & Experience Required:
A full UK driving license with LGV - Class1 (only HGV driver)
ADR Class 9 highly desirable
Compliance with CPC requirements
FORS knowledge desirable
Good time management and organisational skills
A very personable 'can do' attitude
High levels of resilience and flexibility
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
