Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Backshift Positions
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a third-party client for full-time backshift positions.
This is an excellent opportunity for ongoing work with the potential to go temp to perm.
What’s on Offer:
* £18.00 per hour
* Temp to Perm opportunity
* 40 hours per week
* Backshift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
* Depot-to-depot shunting work across the Central Belt
Key Duties:
* Carrying out depot-to-depot trunking and shunting operations
* Safe operation of Class 1 vehicles in line with transport regulations
* Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Ensuring accurate completion of transport paperwork
* Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
* Adhering to driver hours and working time regulations
Skills & Experience:
* Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
* Good understanding of transport and road safety regulations
* Strong time management and communication skills
* Reliable and flexible approach to work
