Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our clients which specialises in general haulage deliveries.

Information about this Class 1 position:

AD HOC work (between Monday to Friday)
Delivering palletised goods on a Class 1 curtain sider
Completing deliveries and some collections around the South Coast area
Day and Night shifts available (10-12 hour days on average)
Pallets are loaded and unloaded for you with FLT
Night shifts include trunk runs and trailer swaps
Communicating with Transport Office, following provided routes, completing all relevant paperwork correctlyRequirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:

Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi card
Minimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
Great communication skills
Experience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveries/ strapping
Own transport to commute to and from work
Fantastic time keeping and communications skills
Complete daily vehicle checks
Comply with the companies health and safety procedures
