HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Burton-upon-Trent (Branston area, DE14 3PD)
Employment Type: Ongoing Contract (Working via JT Recruit)
We are currently recruiting for reliable, professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support our client's state-of-the-art distribution hub based in Branston, Burton-upon-Trent.
Our client is a global market leader in the manufacturing and nationwide distribution of high-quality industrial trade equipment and climbing products. Operating out of a clean, modern facility, this is a fantastic environment with excellent on-site facilities, organized transport offices, and well-maintained modern fleets.

Pay Rates
*
Monday to Friday (Days, 06:00 – 18:00): £16.25 per hour
*
Monday to Friday (Nights, 18:00 – 06:00): £18.25 per hour
*
Saturday (Flat Rate): £19.25 per hour
*
Sunday (Flat Rate): £21.25 per hour
The Role
*
Trunking and bulk distribution of products to regional distribution centres and major trade customers nationwide.
*
Minimal to no handball involved—largely clean, drop-and-swap or forklift-offloaded work.
*
Conducting thorough pre- and post-shift vehicle safety checks.
*
Adhering to EU driving hours, working time directives, and digital tachograph regulations.
What We Are Looking For
*
A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
*
A valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
*
No more than 6 points on your licence (for minor insurance purposes—no DD/DR/CD codes).
*
A professional attitude with a good understanding of driver hours legislation.
