Description:
The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 1 / C+E, LGV Drivers for one of our key clients in Basingstoke. This is minimal handball and sometimes pallet work
This is on an ADHOC basis
Rate of Pay:
* £18.00 per hour (minimum of 8.5 hours, Monday to Friday)
* £27.00 per hour (after 8.5 hours daily or weekends)
Hours of work:
* ADHOC Work
Responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver:
* Operate a Class 1 vehicle from Basingstoke to various locations
* Load and unload of vehicle with use of roll cages
* Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.)
* Report any safety issues on standard reports.
* Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
* Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
* Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Class 1 Driver:
* To be able to successfully pass a driving assessment and onsite induction
* Category C+E Licence.
* CPC.
* Digi Tacho.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C+E Licence, DIGI taco and CPC card
