Pin Point Recruitment are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their products on time.
Class 1 Driver:
* Operate lorries for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations.
* Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.
Class 1 Driver Requirements:
* Proven experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver
* Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation.
* Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
* Previous experience in handling various types of cargo is advantageous
