Class 1 Driver

Description:

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 1 Day Driver on behalf of our client's in the County Durham Area.

The Role:

· Day Shift

· Tramping (Not essential)

· Monday to Friday.

· Delivering to depots throughout the country.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.

· Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.

· To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.

· To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

· Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence for a minimum of 6 months.

· Must have at least 60 days’ worth of driving showing on digital tacho card.

· Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.

· Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.

· No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.

· No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
