Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Trunking Work - occassional unloading with a Pump Truck may be required
Location: Bristol
Pay Rates: £20.00 - £23.50 p/h
Shifts: Thursday to Sunday - various start times available
Licence Type Required: Class 1 (C+E)
Experience: 12 months Class 1 experience is essential
Driver Type: Both PAYE and LTD Drivers accepted

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Bristol to work with our client, who provide a premium logistics service across a number of industries. 

We are recruiting Class 1 drivers who are happy with long route trunking, and the occassional requirement to unload with a pump truck.

Role & Responsibilities:

Driving and operating a Class 1 vehicle
Delivering chilled goods to supermarket RDC's
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Completing digital paperwork
Working in line with WTD, drivers’ hours and waste duty of careAll applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following safety procedures. 
 
About you:
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
