Berry Recruitment is recruiting for a Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a temporary ongoing role based in Bristol.
This is a Monday to Friday position with a 9:00am start, working until all deliveries and collections have been completed. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, vehicle checks, paperwork completion, and assisting with unloading at delivery locations.
The Role:
Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle across planned routes.
Completing deliveries and collections to schedule.
Assisting with unloading at customer sites.
Completing vehicle defect checks before and after shifts.
Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
Securing loads in line with transport regulations.
Following driver hours and tachograph regulations.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
CPC Qualification Card.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Understanding of driver hours regulations.
Ability to carry out manual handling and assist with unloading.
No more than 6 penalty points (endorsements considered).
