Pay Rates: £18.00-£23.11
The Role
You will be completing Class 1 multi-drop deliveries across the North East, Yorkshire and North West, primarily transporting glass bottles and jars secured on pallets.
The role will include:
* Multi-drop Class 1 deliveries
* Up to 3–4 load/unload points per shift
* Trailer swaps
* Opening and closing curtains
* Strapping and securing loads
* 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rotation
The role involves minimal manual handling, with drivers mainly responsible for curtains and strapping rather than physically loading or unloading individual goods.
Requirements
To be considered, drivers must have:
* A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* A minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
* Fewer than 6 points on their driving licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* A professional and safety-conscious approach
Assessment & Induction
Successful applicants will complete an approximately 8-hour assessment, which includes driving and other relevant tests, together with a drug and alcohol test.
Following a successful assessment, drivers will complete an induction and may initially be paired with an experienced driver, depending on their level of experience.
Vacancies
We are currently looking for approximately 4-night drivers, ideally arranged across opposite 4 on / 4 off rotations to provide consistent shift coverage.
Day-shift opportunities are also available, with drivers potentially working opposite rotations.
If you're an experienced Class 1 driver looking for a regular 4 on / 4 off pattern and ongoing work in Doncaster, we'd like to hear from you.
