Rapier Employment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to join one of the UK's leading supermarket distribution operations based in Erith and Dartford.

Immediate starts available. Your driving assessment is completed as part of your first shift, meaning you'll be paid while you demonstrate your skills.

Pay & Benefits

Days: £20.00 per hour
Mid Shifts/Back Shifts: £20.75 per hour
Nights: £22.93 per hour
Overtime: Up to £26.63 per hour
Premium weekend rates – earn up to £53.22 per hour

The Role
You'll be delivering chilled and ambient products to ASDA stores using modern, well-maintained HGV Class 1 vehicles. The work includes a mixture of store deliveries and trunking, with minimal manual handling.
This is a busy, fast-paced distribution operation offering regular work and consistent shifts throughout the year.

Your Responsibilities

Completing store deliveries and trunking work
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Operating safely and professionally at all times
Working within a busy 24/7 logistics operation
Delivering excellent customer service at every delivery point
Shift Information
Flexible shifts are available across a 7-day operation, including weekend work.

Start Times

AM Shifts: 03:00 – 08:00
PM Shifts: 17:00 – 02:00Shift Length

Typically 9–15 hours
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you'll need:

A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card (DQC)
Digital Tachograph Card
A minimum of 6 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, CD or IN endorsements)
Right to work in the UK
A professional, reliable, and safety-focused attitude
