HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers 

Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Car Transporter Drivers to join a well-established transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for professional HGV Class 1 Car Transporter drivers looking for a temp to perm position with excellent earning potential, offering a base salary of £42,000 with bonuses taking earnings up to £54,000 per year.

As an HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver, you will be responsible for:

Safely transporting vehicles across the UK

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and professionally

Completing daily vehicle checks and transport documentation

Delivering outstanding service to dealerships and customers

Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on schedule

1–3 nights out per week required 

The Ideal Candidate:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience

Previous car transporter experience desirable

Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Professional approach when dealing with customers and dealerships

What’s On Offer for this HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver:

£42,000 basic salary
Up to £54,000 per year including bonuses
Monday to Friday working pattern
1–3 nights out per week required
Based in Stoke-on-Trent (ST1)
