Job Title: Class 1 and 2 Drivers
Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Logistics, Procurement, Distribution and Supply Chain
Salary: £13 - £25 Per hour
Job Duties:
Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
Required Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence
CPC qualification
Good driving record with no major violations
Excellent understanding of tachograph regulations
Experience:
Prior experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 driver
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
ADR certification
Experience in the logistics industry
Working Conditions:
Driving long distances and varying shifts
Physical fitness to load and unload goods if required
Working in different weather conditions
