Flexible People Ltd is seeking skilled Class 1 ADR night drivers, for a well known and prestigious client of ours, based in Bedford.
The client are leading worldwide distributors of hazardous goods. The company has been established for over ninety years and are continuously expanding its business. The company are proud to have an in-house Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor to ensure that all legislation is met, surrounding the goods that are being moved.
As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for long runs to different depots and sub-depots to the companies different sites across the UK. This is a trunking role and will require the delivery and unloading of hazardous products.
The Duties are to include -
- Complete trunking runs
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of items
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
This is a night shift position, ranging start times of 1800-21:00 (shifts last approximately 8-10 hours)
The role is Monday to Friday.
The salary is £19.95 per hour.
To apply in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Class 1 ADR driving experience
- Proficiency in operating a Class 1 Lorry
- A valid CPC, Digital Tachograph and Class 1 license.
- A valid ADR license for driving hazardous goods
- A National Insurance Number
