As a Claims Negotiator, you will be responsible for managing a case load of claims and providing efficient and timely claims handling services in alignment with our client's high service standards.

Key Accountabilities - Once Fully Trained:

Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
Develop the capability to issue proceedings for motor accident cases
Process allocated claims and effectively utilise the advanced Case Management system
Handle all new claims correspondence
Determine liability and indemnity for all claims within your allocation
Negotiate claims until their conclusion, up to the point of a Hearing
Maintain an efficient diary regime
Refer any claim to the appropriate team Manager should the nature of the Claim change or deteriorateRequired Skills:

At least 2 years of previous experience in issuing proceedings for road traffic accidents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt communication styles
Effective planning and prioritisation to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships
Computer literacy and ability to adapt to new technologiesLocated just a 3-minute walk from Glasgow Central Low Level train station, our client's office offers a convenient location.
