Description:
Linsco are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to start work on a new build housing site in Seaham. This would be for an ongoing position for the right candidate.
You will be required to manage and coordinate civil works on a new build housing site, including the completion of foundations and associated infrastructure. As a key member of the site management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that civil works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Qualifications to hold: CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise civil works activities on the new build housing site, including the construction of foundations, drainage systems, roads, and utilities.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and health and safety regulations.
Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure that civil works meet specified standards and requirements.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
Prepare and submit progress reports, updates, and documentation to project stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
Collaborate with other members of the site management team to coordinate work flow and ensure the timely completion of civil works.Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role, with a background in civil engineering or construction management.
Strong knowledge of civil works processes, techniques, and materials, particularly in the context of residential developments.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of professionals.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
