Job Opportunity: Civil/Highway Engineer

Location: Surrey, Berkshire, or Hampshire
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: £30,000 - £55,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)

A leading Civil Engineering Consultancy Firm, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients across Surrey, Berkshire, and Hampshire, are seeking a dynamic and skilled Civil/Highway Engineer to join the team and contribute to the success of their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Design and Analysis: Conduct detailed design and analysis of civil engineering structures and infrastructure, including highways, drainage systems, and utilities.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on civil engineering matters to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
Client Liaison: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
Documentation: Prepare and review project documentation, including design reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and environmental engineers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in civil engineering, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and methodologies.Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
3-4 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on highways and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and MX.
Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards, such as DMRB, Eurocodes, and Highways England standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
