Description:

Our client, a key player in the water sector, is currently seeking a Civil Site Manager for a water treatment works project in Chesterfield. This is a contract position and requires an experienced professional adept in managing blue-collar water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring successful project delivery
Managing and supervising blue-collar workforce on site
Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
Implementing and maintaining health and safety procedures
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Preparing and managing project schedules and budgets
Overseeing the construction of sewage treatment works, concrete structures, and pipelaying activities
Conducting site inspections and quality control checks

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in civil site management within the water sector
Strong knowledge of sewage treatment works, concrete structures, and pipelaying
SMSTS qualification
First Aid certification
EUSR Water Card
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage and supervise blue-collar staff effectively
Proficiency in project management and scheduling
