Salary: In the range of £32,000.00 to £38,000.00 per annum, dependent upon candidate and experience. Plus non-contributory Employer's pension scheme 10% salary. Over time is not paid (see bonus note below).

Quali to BEng - Graduate degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) or HNC with 3+ years' experience will be considered
Experience: 3 years post qualification (or relevant experience 5+ years). Working towards completion of IPD, or nearing sign off for Incorporated Engineer status with a relevant professional body (ICE).
Annual days; plus discretionary Director's day at Christmas
in December dependent upon company performance and at Director's discretion.
in a small and friendly office of transport planners and civil engineers, flexibility to carry out a range of tasks will be required. Candidates will have an eye for detail with good presentation skills and the ability to work in a close-knit team. The role will involve liaising with clients and third parties, and management workload to meet deadlines so good communication and organisation skills are required.
Core work will include a wide range of projects, from concept and planning stage through to detailed design and delivery of highway and drainage schemes. Candidates will work on with a diverse client portfolio including educational bodies and housing developers on both minor and major project scales.
Technical technical skills include:
·Competency in use of AutoCAD to produce designs and prepare plans.
·Knowledge of hydraulic modelling in Microdrainange, PDS Flow or Infodrainage.
·Knowledge of highway design, drainage design and flood risk assessments/drainage strategies.
·Knowledge of key relevant design standards and guidance including DMRB, Manual for Streets, Building Regulations, DCG and TSRGD.
·Experience in preparing Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy reports.
Desirable technical skills include:
·Knowledge and experience of contract documentation, including conditions of contract, specifications, methods of measurement, bills of quantities and contract administration.
·Knowledge and experience of 3D modelling software Site3D.
·Knowledge and experience Section 38/278 and Section 104/106/185 agreements
