The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to have the chance of joining a well-established UK engineering business located in Bristol as an experienced Civil Engineer.

Are you a proven Civil Engineer where you have extensive experience of Design process and design activities 
Do you have knowledge of Eurocodes related to civil engineering

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

Civil engineering design office experience
Manage the interface with the civil designers, providing them all the necessary inputs at the right time, following their progress and making sure the design is delivered on time
Contribute to a correct design configuration management: preparation of design changes and participation at design change committees
Support handover of Design Packages released for construction and initiated the delegated responsibilities through this process
Contribute to CDM reviews, create and maintain the Design Risk Register 
  You will have the following qualifications & experience:

Degree in civil or structural engineering subject, civil or structural Engineering
Design process and design activities 
Working knowledge of design codes (e.g. Eurocode 2)
Design with hazard & accidental safety cases
Working within UK CDM regulations and in a highly regulated industry
Delivery-oriented and ability to set action plans and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Proactive, pragmatic and adopting a practical approach to resolve issues 
It’s great if you also have the following:

Working towards / Chartered Engineer with either ICE or IStructE
