Civil Engineer
Location: UK wide (Worcester Head Office)
Salary: Circa £45k - £50k plus company car (Ford Ranger pickup truck)
This is homebased role travelling to sites across the UK and 1 day a week at the Worcester head office.
A civil engineering company who specialises in flood defence are now looking for a Civil Engineering to join their team.
Purpose of Role – Civil Engineer
You will:
* Propose and develop detailed designs.
* Undertake feasibility assessments and site inspections.
* Prepare and implement project plans.
* Research and provide estimates for projects.
* Monitor and optimise safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
* Make recommendations and / or present alternative solutions to problems.
* Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, setting programs and control of project accounts etc.).
Candidate requirements – Civil Engineer
The ideal candidate must come from the construction industry as a Civil Engineer. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
* Ideally be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural or similar but not essential.
* Industry experience in Earthworks, ground support, reinforced concrete projects in the Water sector
* Strong design software skills, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation for permanent and temporary works solutions
