My client, a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join their busy team in Edinburgh. Working as a Civil Engineer you will have the opportunity to take part in large commercial projects where you will assist in managing and leading one of their busiest teams for sustainable drainage systems, bulk earthworks, blue-green infrastructure, and highways.

It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

A minimum of 3-5 years industry experience in appropriate Civil Engineering design
Working towards a chartership
Experience in dealing with SEPA and Scottish Water
Experience in the use of Info Drainage / Micro Drainage

Duties and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer include:

Utilizing design-based software systems for new infrastructure solutions
Monitoring the activities of Technicians and Drafting staff.
Running day to day projects
Working with Assistant/Graduate Engineers / supporting Project Engineers, Technicians and Technical staff.Salary and benefits:
