Civil Enforcement Officer

Job Role
Inspect pay and display machines and other associated equipment to ensure that they are working prior to penalty charge notice issue and carry out minor maintenance to off street machines, reporting any defects that cannot be rectified.
Inspect and report all parking area defects including defective traffic signs and road markings related to parking restrictions (Off Street).
Liaise with cash collection contractor over the collection of monies from ticket machines.
Assist the public wherever possible acting as the first point of contact on minor parking enquiries, enforcement matters and other Council services where appropriate.
Reserve spaces for specific functions and events as directed.
