Are you an experienced Civil Design Engineer?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer to join a growing and ambitious engineering business based in the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied range of projects and project scales, contributing to the design and development of residential and development schemes.

This role offers long-term career development, exposure to a diverse range of projects, and the opportunity to work on civil engineering designs from initial site set-up through to roads, sewers and drainage design within a professional engineering environment.

Qualifications

Essential:

Proven experience in Civil Design Engineering

Development or house builder design experience

Experience with site set-up, roads and sewers design

Expert-level Autodesk Civil 3D

Expert-level Autodesk AutoCAD

Experience using Autodesk InfoDrainage

Experience using Site3D

Experience using Causeway Flow

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

Desirable:

CEng / MICE qualification

Currently working towards CEng / MICE

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and develop civil engineering schemes across a range of project types and scales

Undertake site set-up and civil infrastructure design

Design roads and sewers for development projects

Produce detailed designs using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD

Design and develop drainage systems using Autodesk InfoDrainage

Produce accurate technical drawings, models and design information

Work across residential and development projects from initial design through to detailed design

Collaborate with engineers, clients and project teams to deliver successful designs

Ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications and project requirements

Requirements

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will also be expected to:

Be a proactive, driven individual with strong attention to detail

Have a genuine design-focused background with demonstrable hands-on experience

Be comfortable working across a varied project portfolio

Have strong technical communication and problem-solving skills

Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider engineering team
