Job Title: Civil Design Engineer
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role
Our client is looking for a Civil Design Engineer to produce practical, cost-effective engineering designs for water and wastewater projects.
Reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will develop design layouts, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and produce technical documentation that meets project specifications, environmental requirements and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Produce cost-effective civil design layouts and technical drawings.
Coordinate designs with internal and external engineering disciplines.
Support project proposals with estimates and technical feedback.
Ensure designs meet specifications, environmental standards and health and safety requirements.
Review and improve engineering procedures and processes.
Support effective project delivery through collaborative working.
What Our Client is Looking For
Relevant engineering HND or equivalent qualification; a degree is desirable.
Understanding of water and wastewater treatment principles.
Ability to develop practical, economical engineering designs.
Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Good computer literacy and the ability to manage technical information.
Previous water sector design experience would be advantageous.
